Open your word document and choose Page Layout on the Ribbon, then select page color to select the background color you want. The nice thing about Word 2007 is you just need to hover the mouse over each color to see a preview of how it will look in the document. Select the background color you want and you are done.

California’s Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed an executive order in 2020 that required the sales of all new passenger vehicles to be “zero-emission” by 2035. The California Air Resources Board approved a plan this week to implement the executive order, which will gradually phase out the sale of new gas-only cars. Starting in 2026, 35% of cars shipped to California by auto companies (Ford, GM, BMW, etc.) must be electric cars or hybrids, with that percentage increasing each year until reaching 100% in 2035....

Using Weather Watcher Installation is quick and easy following the installation wizard. One thing to point out is to uncheck the Ask Toolbar install if you don’t care for it. Also make sure to uncheck Ask.com as your default search provider if you already have a favorite. The first time you launch Weather Watcher after the installation you will be prompted to go in and setup options. The main thing we sat up right away was a location to start getting current conditions, which is under the Active City tab....

Open up the Start Menu and right-click on “Computer”, and then select “Properties”. This will take you into the System area of Control Panel. Click on the “System Protection” link on the left hand side. Now select the “System Protection” tab to get to the System Restore section. Click the “Create” button to create a new restore point. You’ll be prompted for a name, and you might want to give it a useful name that you’ll be able to easily identify later....

Note: This should also work on Windows 7. This works by setting up a scheduled task to run the application in Administrator mode, and then setting up a separate shortcut that tells the scheduled task to run. If that sounds difficult, it’s really not… just follow through the instructions below. Note: Because you are required to click through a UAC prompt to setup the scheduled task, it’s not really a security loophole....

Note that this technique should work for Windows 7, Vista, or even XP. Create Screensaver Icon Right-click on the desktop and choose New \ Shortcut from the menu.
