Volkswagen broke ground on its first battery cell factory today in Salzgitter, Germany, which is planned to start manufacturing EV batteries in 2025. The Weather app on iPad is basically what you’d expect. It’s a nice big, full-screen weather app—a larger version of the same Weather app you’ll find on iPhone. Now, when you tap the Weather widget on your iPad’s home screen, you’ll (presumably) go to the app rather than go to a weather website in Safari....

Note: After installing and launching this application you will need to restart the Vista sidebar. When you launch the Windows Sidebar Styler application, it will give you this dialog that gives you a list of all the elements in the theme. You can select the items and see a preview on the right. The big Play button will apply the style, but first you’ll need to load it by clicking the button to the right for “Load a Windows Sidebar Style”, which will open up a file selection dialog so you can choose from the different themes....

Book Information The GoodThere’s tons of good information on backing up and restoring your computer, and what to do in the event of a problem or total system crash. The BadThe book could have focused more on what to do in the event of a massive spyware infestation, a much more common problem for regular users. Also, there’s no mention of the How-To Geek… what’s up with that? =) The Bottom LineThis book is an excellent guide for less experienced users to keeping your computer safe and backed up....
