Microsoft has been busy adding new features to Windows 11 through various Insider builds. Its most recent one has a hidden feature that adds tabs to File Explorer, making browsing your files much more pleasant. Rafael Rivera, a developer of the EarTrumpet app, found tab support tucked into Microsoft’s new Windows 11 test build. It isn’t readily available in the build, so Microsoft probably didn’t plan to announce it yet....
Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s service that includes access to many PC and Xbox games for one low monthly price. Now you can play more classic PC games on Game Pass, starting today. Microsoft, which recently completed its acquisition of ZeniMax and Bethesda (which in turn, owns Quake and Doom, among other series), revealed today that more classic Bethesda/Id Software games are coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC. The problem is most likely that you’ve enabled Windows Classic folders, which disables those two panes. If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, look at the panes that are enabled on the bottom and the right. The bottom pane is the details pane, and the one on the right is the preview pane. To enable these, normally you would click on Organize, and then Layout to get to the Details or Preview pane… but why aren’t those items in the list?...
